  • Works and Economic Life - Social organization of work in society including slave society, industrial society, feudal society, Formal and informal organization of work, Labour, and society.

  • Social Structure - Rural and Agrarian Social Structure: The idea of an Indian village and village studies, Agrarian social structure - the evolution of land tenure system, land reforms. 
  • Caste System – Know the perspectives on the study of caste systems
  • Tribal communities in India - Colonial policies and tribes, Geographical spread, Definitional problems, Issues of integration and autonomy.
